Eric Judson is the president and founder of FnI Compliance Solutions LLC.  Eric is a New York State licensed Automotive Fraud and Regulatory Compliance Attorney who has focused on automobile fraud and unfair, deceptive acts and practices since law school. Eric has 30 years of automotive experience, earning his BA and JD working as a top performing Sales Professional and F&I Manager in California and Western New York.  He has earned numerous top sales awards, a regional Walk-Around Championship, and was a top performing Finance and Insurance Manager for multiple dealerships on two coasts.  Eric has also worked for General Motors and GM Financial as part of the General Motors Protection Team which worked to launch the factory branded F&I product suite for GM.


Eric began his career in the car business to pay his way through college.  He earned his BA with honors from UCLA and graduated Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2006.

Eric was invited to be a Contributing Expert to General Motor's Center of Learning in 2012. His contributions became part of the F&I Manager's training Path until 2018. Eric joined the General Motors Protection Team in 2016 and spent 6 years working with the team to relaunch the factory branded F&I products for General Motors.  Eric focused on implementing training and development regimens in hundreds of dealerships throughout the Northeast and Midwest.  Eric utilized a method of statistical analysis developed to identify underperforming F&I departments, establish objective performance metrics, and target training and development to produce real results. The Opportunity Analysis and Transaction Type Analysis developed by Eric can be used to proactively identify non-compliant behavior for correction. Eric's team led the nation in contract production for two years prior to being promoted to AVP/Northeast Regional Sales Manager for the Protection Team.​

Eric developed the Optional Product Disclosure (OPD) Presentation to obtain consumers express, informed consent to purchase optional products from F&I Managers, Sales Professionals, and can be used in a virtual environment.  The OPD method embraces transparency and disclosure and is designed to comply with the strict new standards of the CARS Rule (Combating Auto Retail Scams Trade Regulation Rule) and produces better results than the traditional 4-column menu presentation and is designed to achieve the best possible outcome in the F&I office.
